The Traditional Hair-Oiling Ritual—Trusted Since 1948

Hair oiling has remained an important part of family wellness routines for generations. It offers more than basic hair care—it creates time to slow down, massage the scalp and maintain a consistent self-care ritual.

Moosa Oils has continued this tradition since 1948, offering botanical oils inspired by trusted heritage practices.

Step 1: Select the Right Oil

Choose an oil according to your current needs. Use a targeted Anti Oil for concerns such as dandruff, hair fall, hair growth or lice care. For everyday nourishment, select a Carrier Oil such as Almond, Olive, Coconut, Sesame or Amla Oil.

Step 2: Use the Right Amount

More oil does not always produce better results. Apply enough to lightly cover the scalp and hair roots without completely soaking the hair.

Step 3: Massage Gently

Use your fingertips to massage the scalp for two to five minutes. Work in small circular movements and avoid scratching with your nails.

A gentle massage helps spread the oil evenly and creates a relaxing hair-care experience.

Step 4: Apply to Hair Lengths

After covering the scalp, spread the remaining oil through the mid-lengths and ends. Pay extra attention to dry or rough areas.

Step 5: Allow Time to Absorb

Leave the oil on according to the instructions provided with the product. Many oils can be used as a pre-shampoo treatment for 30 to 60 minutes, while some routines may involve leaving the oil on longer.

Step 6: Wash Thoroughly

Use a suitable shampoo and lukewarm water. Avoid very hot water, as it may make the scalp and hair feel dry.

Make It a Weekly Ritual

Regular care is more effective than occasional heavy application. Add hair oiling to your routine two or three times per week and adjust the frequency according to your scalp type.

With pure botanical care and a heritage dating back to 1948, Moosa Oils continues to support everyday hair and skin rituals with the promise: Purity is Life.
